As a society most of us have excepted and a lot of have have even embraced the concept of "Life Long Learning". While some are still resistant, you cannot afford to be especially in the IT/ICT area. Also as you have found out by now there are far too many things to learn in Visual Basic (and IT in general) for us to put it all in the course. You are expected to discover "things" for yourself and you are asked to share this with your colleagues (this should include peers, lecturers and anyone interested).
This forum is here not only to satisfy requirements for your course but also to encourage you to embrace "Life Long Learning" as well as sharing "new" things you learn with your colleagues. It will cover some of the learning outcomes for the unit "Contribute to personal skill development and learning" and tries to foster Live Long Learning and with it the sharing of the learnt, after all:

Handy Hints
Each student is asked (required, part of the assessment) to share 2 things that they have learned (on their own) in regards to Visual Basic, we will call these Handy Hints. Go to the Handy Hints page to find out more and to add your Handy Hints.
This site is an interactive site and you are encouraged to use it constructively.
NOTE
Keep an eye on the web site for any changes and any Handy Hints.
You can set an option to alert you of any changes.
Editing pages is pretty straight forward, use help if you can't figure it out for yourself.
NOTE
PLEASE only edit your "own area" that is under your name. If you have suggestions for changes to other areas please send me an Email.
